Calendar Club, which has opened a shop in Ipswich every year between October and the start of January, has said that it has been unable to secure a location in the town this year.
In previous years the shop has opened in the Sailmakers shopping centre, and last year it operated in the former Body Shop premises in Tavern Street.
That unit is now the home of Utopia Ladieswear – which opened at the start of July.
A statement from Calendar Club said: “Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to secure a location in Ipswich yet, however, we are still looking at options, so it remains a possibility.”
The shop has been a popular fixture in Ipswich’s Christmas shopping scene, selling a range of calendars, posters, annuals, diaries, planners and gift items.
It has been opening temporary shops across the UK since 1998.
