Former Trespass site begins works ahead of new business

Trespass in Westgate Street, Ipswich, was closed down in March after serving shoppers for many years.

The closure was announced in May 2025, when it was reported that the shop would close its Ipswich branch permanently.

The shop went up for sale in September 2025 for £320,000.

The closure follows that of Claires and TG Jones set to close in June.

Claire’s had a branch in Westgate Street in Ipswich and held a closing down sale before shutting its doors for the last time in April.

Currently, the former Trespass has scaffolding on the exterior, but it is unknown what business may take over the unit next.
