Hamilton-Wenham Public Library Main Meeting room, 14 Union St, South Hamilton MA
Join the Friends of the Hamilton Wenham Public Library on January 6th at 6 PM as we launch our annual membership drive and prepare to honor the library’s 25th anniversary in 2026! This event will include a presentation by Taylor Bradford, the inaugural full-time editor of the H-W News, as well as light refreshments and opportunities to contribute to our exciting 25th anniversary celebration programs and activities.
Your support is vital to ensuring the continued success of the library in the context of current public funding reductions. The Friends organization supports the library by sponsoring free movies, museum passes, trips, author talks, programs for all ages, and filling funding gaps in areas such as office equipment. This year’s goal includes funding digitization of past issues of the Hamilton-Wenham Chronicle to preserve our history.
Friends of the Library President Sheila Laing says: “Start the New Year right by joining the Friends of the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library on January 6th to kick-off the celebration of our 25th Anniversary. Meet and mingle with your fellow library patrons while enjoying light refreshments and a presentation by Taylor Bradford, editor of the H-W News. All are welcome and we look forward to meeting you and sharing the exciting plans to celebrate twenty-five years of this vital library community.”
