Penn Commercial has confirmed that a new national retail outlet will join Ipswich’s high street, taking over 24 Tavern Street.
The shop has been home to Ann Summers since the lingerie and adult retailer moved from Westgate Street in August 2022.
Before Ann Summers, the shop was home to Paper Chase.
Ann Summers closed its doors on August 1 and just days after, it has been confirmed that a new retailer will open soon in the shop.
It has not been revealed who will take over the premises, but Penn Commercial has said that more news will be announced soon.
Penn Commercial is marketing other units on Tavern Street, including the ground floor of Great White Horse Hotel, and has recently agreed lets for other units including Hays Travel in the former GAME and Utopia ladieswear in the former Body Shop.
